Absolutely not! The last thing I want is my client paying for something that they no longer need or want. My clients have to option to cancel their monthly bookkeeping at any time.
The purpose of our discovery call is to determine what services you need, how I can help, and (*crosses fingers*) on whether or not we could be a good fit working together. My only ask is that you come to our discovery call prepared with your last two months of bank and credit card statements so we know how many transactions you average per month.
I request read-only online access to banks, credit cards, and your invoicing system (ex., Stripe, etc). Almost all of these allow a read-only accountant log in, and I will help you to set it up, so your data is always secure. Why do I need to give you separate access? This allows me to work efficiently and avoid bothering you for login requests or more information found within your accounts. If that is not possible, I would require your monthly statements. This relationship is a two-way street & as long as I get the information I need everything will run smoothly. You can expect me to send some questions to clearly understand all of your transactions. The quicker I get information the sooner I can get your reports to you.
Also required would be accountant access to your QuickBooks account.
QuickBooks is by far my favorite! There are other great accounting softwares out there, but Quickbooks has proved to be what has helping my clients to most.

As a bookkeeper, I do not provide tax advice and/or services other than the option helping you file your sales tax payments. I will work closely with your accountant/tax preparer at year-end and during tax season.
